Succession planning is an increasingly important topic for organizations across industries as leaders prepare for long-term growth, continuity, and organizational stability. First Business Bank recently navigated a significant leadership transition, appointing only its third CEO in more than three decades — highlighting the importance of intentional planning and development at all levels of the organization, not just the executive team.

During this conversation, First Business Bank President & CEO Dave Seilier and Chief Human Resources Officer Jodi Chandler will share insights from the organization’s succession planning journey, including how leadership transitions were approached, where culture fits into the process, strategies for developing future leaders, and lessons learned along the way.
