108th Annual Meeting
Thursday, September 17, 2026 (4:30 PM - 8:00 PM) (CDT)
Description
As the Alliance wraps up its 108th year, join business leaders from across Waukesha County and the region for an evening celebrating the accomplishments of our business community. We’ll recognize this year’s Waukesha County award winners, Emerging Leaders, Advocate of the Year, and Don Richards Leadership Award recipient during a night of connection, collaboration, and celebration with hundreds of regional leaders.
In addition, hear from Mark Murphy, recently retired president and CEO of the Green Bay Packers. Over his 18-year tenure, Murphy led one of the NFL’s most storied franchises through a period of remarkable success both on and off the field. Under his leadership, the Packers captured a Super Bowl XLV victory, made eight consecutive playoff appearances, and completed transformative renovations to Lambeau Field funded through two historic stock sales. Murphy also spearheaded the creation of the Titletown District, a mixed-use development that has become a year-round destination for residents and visitors alike.
Prior to joining the Packers, he served a combined 16 years as director of athletics at Northwestern University (2003-07) and Colgate University (1992-2003). He enjoyed an eight-year NFL playing career with the Washington Redskins and served as co-captain from 1980-84, including the Super Bowl title team of 1982. He earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in 1983 after leading the NFL with nine interceptions.
Murphy is believed to be the only person to earn a Super Bowl ring as a player and as a team's chief executive.
